Hello all!
Our school is currently working hard to promote African American History month to our students. While we make a conscious effort to teach an inclusive, informed, and critical view of history, other outlets can often over look the historical contributions from traditionally marginalized groups. I wanted to share a little graphic being used in our school newsletter, as well as a bookmark and coordinating book display, all celebrating notable current and past African Americans.
